Old Skool vans vs New Scool vans

There's a lot of talk about "Old School" these days. Some of us old time vanners who started in the 70's are labelled "Old School". On the other hand given the choice and some extra coin some of us old timers may just take our old school rides and slap on some Dubs, bag it or air ride it, drop it to the ground and throw in a big brand new crate engine, then I guess we'd have a "Sport Van" :).
In this double feature we have the best of both worlds. On one hand we have Chopper Dave who is famous for his old time choppers, of course he would have an "Old Skool" van. On the other hand we have Ken Surmon's who runs a collision center, he wanted something totally different and was inspired by what he saw here and decided to go where few have gone before and do a full radical on a Dodge Caravan.
Check them both out I think you will like both very much !
Chopper Dave and his 62 Econo "Murder Van" Ken Surmon's Kandy Chop
Chopper Dave is known for his Old Skool Choppers and his appearances on Monster Garage and Motorcycle Mania. A few vanners have noticed a very cool Econo while watching these shows.
Well this Econo belongs to Chopper Dave and Muscle Machines has even made a 1/64 replica of it !

Ken Surmons got an idea from looking at Showvans. He was building a custom Dodge Caravan, a vehicle that few customizers have tackled before. He took inspiration from Never Enough and you can really see that in this radical Caravan.
I think this van may inspire others to maybe tackle a Caravan, these vans are very plentiful used and to me surprisingly very few have tried customizing them.
