The weatherman was on Altruk's side all the
way this year, no false predictions of downpours and no extreme
heat like last year. I had not been there for a couple of years
and now live almost twice as far but I owed it to my very good
friends at Altruk to go back a third time. It was my first time
back to a Northeast event in 2 years since I moved to Toronto
and I got a very welcome back from everyone.
I will expand on the weekend on Vannin.com and maybe post it
here. But the most important thing was getting some coverage
up and the results as soon as I could.
Huge thanks as usual to Superbeast for
his photos. Johnny O took a good bunch of pictures of many of
the vans and trucks as they entered the show grounds. I thank
him for burning me a disk of those. Thanks also to Kim for the
results of the Show n Shine and last but not least thanks to
Pat for being a very gracious host all weekend and for all his
help that he has given me over the years with the calendars. |
